A little makeup can make your eyes brighter and and give your face more definition! The right side of my face I put on foundation, bronzer, and a little bit of blush. My right eye has a nude eyeshadow and a light line of eyeliner on my top lid and on my waterline, topped off with some mascara! And lastly, I have lip liner and lipstick on the right side of my mouth.

Sometimes you see people and they’re eyes stand out more than usual. It could be because of the colors they’re wearing, the way they’re makeup is done, or the surrounding environment. Whatever the cause, it most likely has to do with specific colors influencing their eyes.
Specific colors make other colors more pronounced. These color pairings are known as “complimentary colors”. For example, red is the complementary color of green, and orange is the complementary color of blue. This is why you see a lot of redheaded bombshells wear a lot of beautiful green dresses – the dress compliments they’re amazing hair color.
The color theory also applies to eye color. A way to make your eyes pop is to paint your lid with your eye’s complimentary color. For blue eyes, that means using a lot browns that incorporate orange undertones.
On Erin, I used a light brown on the inner lid and a darker brown on the crease in outer lid. Both browns had orange undertones that contrast well with her blue eyes and really make them pop!
If you have green eyes, using browns with red undertones will help bring out your natural color, just like if you have brown eyes using violet and bluish tones will help accomplish the same look!
Makeup tip of the day: White eyeliner on the bottom lash line opens up your eyes!
Dark colors create the illusion of a smaller space; hence why we use darker colors to contour and create angles, or wear black to look thin! Light colors do the opposite; they open up a space! A room with all white furniture and sunlight will look more spacious than a room with all dark colors and black couches. The same theory applies to eyeliner! Using a white or nude eyeliner actually brightens the eyes and makes your eyes seem bigger.
Winged eyeliner can be a tricky thing to get right. Sometimes one eye comes out perfect but the other eye looks like you fell face first into a Sharpie marker…
Sometimes one wing is going straight up to your eyebrow while the other wing looks like it is running away to your earlobe..
A lot of people try to get the winged look by flick their eyeliner/brush at the end of the eye. This method leaves a lot of room for error…
The best way to accomplish even winged liner is to actually start at your bottom lash:
